How to Create a Website Step 10 Build your Website page by page.

Once you have finished planning your website it’s time to build your website page by page. Here you will learn to use WordPress themes or Joomla themes to make website blogs.

At this point to create a website it is always best to crawl before you walk and walk before you run. Accomplish your primary objectives before moving on to the next step. Many of our more successful customers master WordPress or Joomla installation and operation before installing any other applications.

In the next step you will need to have installed and setup your cheap web hosting. Within your account select launch under your web hosting. Once you are in your cheap hosting control panel select view all apps. Once you are in the view all web hosting apps you will see categories to the right. Refer back to your original application requirements list for the applications you need to install.

Now it is simply a matter of working your way down your list, installing those applications per the requirements set forth in your business plan. As you begin to install your first application, you need to ask yourself what is the core application you would like to base your website off. As an example if you intent to be a blog only, then you will need to select WordPress, Joomla or another blog application. If you would rather just host a discussion forum then PHPBB or another will fit your needs.

In many cases our customers require a complex hybrid of multiple applications all required to work in concert with one another. In any case by selecting your core application you can then simply tell that application to install to the root of the hosting. Installing an application to the root of hosting tells that application it is the primary application for that cheap hosting. Example root is Domain-Cheap.com/.

Now as you move down your list to the next item to be installed , you will install that item into a sub fold or directory. As an example if you were to install a forum then the most logical directory name for a forum would be Example: Domain-Cheap.com/forum. This is not a requirement, but a logical choice. Continue this process installing each application in logically named sub folders. Also take note of what application is installed in what folder as well as the username and passwords you have set for them.

Once you have installed all applications, it is time to decide on a design or aesthetic look for your website. This is where WordPress and Joomla excel once again. Each of these applications use themes or templates to completely change the look, design and functionality of a website. The trick here is to try and find a design that will appear consistent across all the installed applications. This is normally done through theme or template customization. A web design team will either take your design or they will create and adapt an existing design to your WordPress hosting or Joomla hosting. This new design could then be adapted to all other applications installed on the web hosting.

Aesthetic design consistency across all your installed applications is important to the professional appearance of your business or blog. This simple attention to detail is actually very pivotal on the impression the website leaves with your visitors. First impressions are key to any new relationship, especially on the internet and you only have on average 4 seconds to make a good one. The impression you leave on your visitors can be that of a small company or a major corporation. Often the differences are just a simple matter of quality design styling and not a matter of cost or time to create. Like all art we each are born with a subconscious ability to recognize quality works.

Many timeless art works are based on color usage and symmetrical relationships. Some of these symmetrical relationships are expressed by the golden ratio. Many artists proportion their artistic works to approximate the golden ratio. The golden ratio and other artistic principles, combined with the latest in design styling trends is what keeps artists on cutting edge top website design. As mentioned earlier many of these high quality designs are no more time consuming to create then other less expensive designs. Here at Domain-Cheap.com we make every attempt to assist our customers to find quality designers at discounted rates. If the uniqueness of your website is not that important then in many cases we are able to find a free open source top quality design for you.
